Why Are You So Bored?
Are you in a mental space of boredom while being productive?
Then this is for you.
I noticed I was in an odd stage of boredom a few months ago. I hated myself for it because I thought why would I a mom of four kids be bored? I have like a bunch of things to do constantly. Then I realized I wasn’t pouring into my physical health the way I should and going for long walks just wasn’t enough.
After having my twins there were days that I was in a funk.
When I am in a funk I don’t feel like doing anything I just want to lay in bed and do nothing. Do you ever have days like this?
Firstly there’s a difference between needing a break and being in a complete funk. We all need a break from time to time. What does a break look like for you?
A spa day
A vacation once a year
A day out to eat with friends
A day alone in bed or out shopping.
Whatever it looks like go ahead and add a ME DAY to your schedule once or twice a month I know I do and it has helped me.
