This is such a great article. It spoke to me because my dad did not raise me, my grandfather did. My father moved to Florida when I was small and I felt abandoned because till this day I love and think about him all the time. I see the relationship my husband has with our daughter and think to myself wow I really missed out on so much. There's times that he has said he is sorry for not being there but he has the opportunity to be in his grands kids life now and he is not. He just texts me once in a while. If I do get to speak to him I don't know if I should express my thoughts to him or simply let it be.
