I totally understand this and it’s a statement that always bothered me. Culturally people in my family would say well that’s how men are and generalized them into one category as if we need to accept it and move on. As a mother and I wife I disliked the statements because i realized good men are out there when they came into my life. I never had my father in my life but it didn’t stop me from having faith that good men exist and that I have the capability to raise a good man myself.
