Think of a time that you saw an artist or a person and you were drawn to them in some way. You like how they style their hair and their physical appearance. They may have a certain look that draws you in, and you know absolutely nothing about this person, but you find yourself admiring them. It is completely fine to follow an influencer who shares healthy lifestyle tips or fitness and skincare routines you may like, but I am talking about infatuation, which is an obsessively short-term, strong love or admiration for someone you don’t fully know.

Some men get infatuated all the time. They see a beautiful woman online and he is mesmerized to the point they will say things like I’m in love or you’re sexy etc. Women may be flattered by these comments because it’s nice to feel seen and accepted, but it’s difficult for some women to distinguish between a genuine connection and a fake one. This happens to men as well, they’re maybe a woman who has a deep infatuation with him, and he cannot determine if it’s a real connection or not. Women make sexual public comments towards men, and it may be flattering to men, but deep down, people still want a real connection, not surface-level compliments.
